Saturday Football Predictions (4 March): An evening full of stress
Saturday never fails to deliver, as the action is full of all of the top-5 leagues in Europe. In my today’s football predictions will keep my focus on two matches from Serie A and La Liga, which will be very competitive, as the top-four spots in both leagues remain open.

Atalanta vs Udinese Prediction
La Dea was not at its best, as the team lost easily 2-0 to AC Milan last Sunday. They are outside of the Champions League spots at this point, but they always have the talent to bounce back shortly. Atalanta may have lost three out of the last four league games, they keep track of Inter, Milan and Roma though. Scoring is not a problem for Garsperini’s squad but the huge problem remains on the defensive end. Udinese’s possibilities to find the net are growing fast.
Despite that, the visitors have struggled to win the three points recently, as they are on a five-game winless streak, with the most recent match being a 2-2 draw against Spezia. Udinese is ninth in the Serie A table, level on points with tenth-placed TorinoBoth teams have scored in each of the last seven matches between them and if they manage to score, it will be hard to end in 1-1.
Atletico Madrid vs Sevilla Prediction
A while ago both Atletico Madrid and Sevilla were hard to watch. Atletico Madrid managed to escape from this category, sitting now easily in the top spots of La Liga standings. Last week’s draw versus Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu was more than enough to state that Simeone resolved many of his team mentality issues from the start of the season.
On the other hand, Sevilla lost to Osasuna at home, conceding three times, in another terrible performance. We are not used to seeing Sevilla facing the danger of relegation, but the team currently points above 18th placed Valencia. I will trust Atletico Madrid’s momentum at this point, but Simeone knows how to make his players win without risking much. It might be stressful for the hosts, but one goal or two will get the job done.
