Europa League: All eyes on Manchester United’s reaction
What would you think if I’d say that Europa League is more competitive than the Champions League? You might think that maybe I’m a crazy person, but I never get bored watching these matches that are full of goals and action. Tonight will not be an exception. Betis and Real Sociedad are not teams to sleep on, while the two Unions will fight again this season. The Europa League round of 16 first leg it’s on and these are my predictions.

Manchester United vs Betis Prediction
After losing 7-0 at Anfield many searched online to read if Eric ten Hag is still safe at Manchester United. The Red Devils will try to bounce back and Marcus Rashford stated that he can’t wait for the next match. He always performs better in front of the team’s fans so I would bet him to be the best player on the field, finding the net once more in 2023.
Many believe that goals will be the only constant in this encounter and if this will happen, it would be very strange not to see Rashford in the scoresheet. Betis kept a clean shit against a very problematic Real Madrid, but tonight it will be harder to defend versus a team whose ego has been hurt.
Shakhtar Donetsk vs Feyenoord Prediction
I expect many goals in this one. Both of them are good at creating chances and finding the net pretty easily, but on the defensive end are not good enough to believe that they can end the game with a clean sheet. Shakhtar’s last-round matches against Rennes were proof of that, with the games ending 2-1 and 2-2.
Feyenoord scored in every game of 2023, meaning that the talent is here. Shakhtar scored twice in nine of its last ten home matches, while Feyenoord found the net twice in almost every game recently (excluding the last two matches). So I will trust both of them to score, in a game that will have over 2,5 goals.
