Liverpool prepare an interesting bid for Chiesa
Jurgen Klopp sees his major contenders bolstering their roster in need of a better season. He, on the other side, identified Liverpool as unable to acquire both Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe. The Reds have already completed the signing of World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton, but the club wants to strengthen further in many areas of its game.

On the other side, Juventus’ lack of Champions League football forced the team to sell some valuable assets this summer, in a chance to balance the financial issues. The player’s contract is due to 2025 and Bianconeri are keen to sell the player in the next couple of months instead of losing him for a lower fee next summer.
It is reported that Liverpool is preparing a £34.5 million bid for the Italian winger, as the Reds are the frontrunners to seal his signature at this point. He is not appreciated entirely by Allegri and would see himself out of Torino and Italy, in a team which needs to bounce back in the Premier League as soon as possible. Klopp knows that he has many attacking options but can’t say no to a bargain price for such a talented player.
Juventus are holding out for a £50 million price, while other European giants are also interested in Chiesa.
The only serious concern is Chiesa’s fitness status, as he was forced to be sidelined for almost 10 months last season due to a cruciate ligament injury. He had a full season though, making 33 appearances with Juventus, having 4 goals and 6 assists.
It will be interesting to see where he will land this summer, now that Allegri is not fond of the current situation. Liverpool never misses when it’s for serious business.
