Arsenal could line up with four ex-Man City players after these two new signings!
Losing the Premier League title at the end of the campaign is always tough. Man City put in an extremely consistent performance lately and secured the top spot of the league (they just need one win to be crowned champions again), despite Arsenal setting the stakes higher than usual.

Mikel Arteta wants to try again next season, but the Gunners will need a serious improvement in the transfer market. The Spanish coach is looking for two Man City players in a chance to catch up with the best team in Europe at this moment. Last summer, Arteta managed to lure Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko by offering them more regular football time. They both moved to North London, being sensational additions to what Arsenal’s coach has in mind. They helped the team return to Champions League football.
The Gunners are still searching for available players from their current big rivals. Arsenal is extremely interested in adding Ilkay Gundogan to the squad when the City captain’s deal expires this summer. He is still the barometer in Guardiola’s fantastic team and has the chance to win the Champions League, Premier League and the FA Cup in the last days of his contract. He is in search of a new challenge in his career, being heavenly linked to a Barcelona move.
The Gunners also want to bring Joao Cancelo to the Emirates Stadium as he is not appreciated by Pep Guardiola. His loan at Bayern Munich may not be successful but made it clear that he will be out of Manchester soon.
Arteta may have found the solution: reinforcing Arsenal’s squad by weakening Guardiola’s side. Pep though knows how to ensure his team’s success. It remains to be seen if this will be the championship of the next couple of years or more.
