If you are a Football Manager fan, certainly you are… familiar with the “mountain to climb” expression. You may have seen it when a team concedes two goals early in the game.
Manchester United certainly have a mountain to climb in March, as most of their season targets will be determined and, moreover, there is not even one fixture which is not an even tie.
On Sunday, the “Red Devils” will face Manchester City for the 28th gameday of the Premier League.
The recent history may… favour them, as the visiting team have won all three previous clashes with the same score: 0-2! However, United have won only once! A week later, they will face Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford and straight after, they will have to defend the 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid for the Round of 16 of the Champions League!
After 27 matches for the Premier League, Manchester United is in fourth place, just two points ahead of David Moyes’ West Ham!
