Premier League teams the favourites for the UEFA Champions League 2022-2023
Real Madrid were the winners of the 2022 UEFA Champions League, celebrating their 14th trophy. The “Blancos” eliminated three Premier League clubs, those that, eventually, finished in the Top 3 of the league!
However, Real Madrid is not the strongest favourite to retain their crown next year. Already, 26 teams have qualified for the group stage of the 2022-2023 Champions League campaign and the odds do not give a lot of chances for a back to back trophy from Carlo Ancelotti and his squad.
Manchester City, who failed to reach the final is the strongest favourite (11/4) while PSG are third (11/2). Both teams were eliminated by Real Madrid at the Round of 16 and the semi-finals respectively, but the Spanish champions are sixth in the list and the potential payout is higher than ten times the bet (12/1)!

Liverpool reached the UEFA Champions League Final, where they never manage to beat Courtois, leaving Paris empty-handed. In the domestic competitions they played the maximum of the matches an English club can possibly play in a season (63). Thus, they lifted the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup, but they lost the Premier League title and the Champions League. Rumour has it, that after Sadio Mane, Mo Salah will not be at the Anfield next season, however, the “Reds” are considered to be the second strongest favourite to lift the Champions League trophy next season (9/2).
Having six Champions League trophies, but probably without Robert Lewandowski in the squad, Bayern Munich is the fourth strongest favourite (7/1), followed by Chelsea (12/1).
