Formula One 2022 Preview – Part 2: Calendar, Teams, and Drivers
Motorsports’ popularity has been on the rise for the first time in ages. With no clear-cut favourite, motorsports fans are bracing themselves for the Formula One 2022 season. The first signs were shown last year, as the deciding Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was seen by 130 million viewers worldwide, more than the Super Bowl, which was witnessed by 114 million people! In Part 1 we talked about the odds, favourites, and made our bold predictions. In this second part, we will learn the teams, drivers, and the full calendar. And of course the best betting site offers, when it comes to the fastest sport on the planet.
Formula 1 2022 Calendar
The 2022 F1 calendar consists of 22 events. The Australian, Canadian, Japanese, and Singapore courses returned to the calendar, after a two-year absence, while the Portuguese, Styrian, Qatar and Turkish Grand Prix were removed. The Miami Grand Prix will make its debut, but the Chinese GP was ultimately not included, due to pandemic-related travelling restrictions. The Sochi Grand Prix was cancelled, in response to the Russin invasion of Ukraine.
