Harry Kane is heading to Real Madrid through a surprising swap deal

Real Madrid is already searching for an attacking improvement in the summer and they have been offered the chance to sign Harry Kane in a deal that will see Eden Hazard moving the other way.

The 2023/2024 season will be Kane’s last year in the Spurs shirt, because it may be utopic for both him and Tottenham to renew their collaboration. The English national team skipper is fed up with the club’s incompetency to win even one title, something that even Konte (the team’s last permanent manager) mentioned in a previous interview. This summer will be the last chance Spurs will have to cash on the move of their biggest star and a club legend, as he can agree on a free transfer from the 1st of January.

Erik Ten Hag desperately needs an attacking force, because he can’t count on Wout Weghorst. Man United has been monitoring the situation for quite some time now, being a red alert regarding the possible move of the 29-year-old striker. Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy, has already stated that he doesn’t want Kane to be transferred to one of the team’s greatest rivals in the Premier League, preferring Kane to move away from England.

Real Madrid could be a solution that all the interested parties can accept and earn much from it. Real is still counting on Karim Benzema, but the French star is in the 35th year of his life. Adding an elite striker such as Kane will add more to what Carlo Ancelotti has in mind for a perfect Real Madrid. Harry Kane can compete again in the Champions League (Tottenham will participate in the conference League at best) while he has the chance to win some silverware for the first time in his career. Tottenham will cash in big and move on to the next project.

This project may include Eden Hazard, a player that arrived as one of the best-attacking midfielders in Madrid but never lived up to expectations, facing many injuries and fitness concerns, finding the net only on seven occasions in the last four years. It is obvious that Ancelotti doesn’t count on him any more while the player thinks that a move back to London and the Premier League (where he had the best years of his career in terms of trophies and overall performance) can be ideal. A transfer to Spurs can make the package more likeable to Real Madrid, meaning that Merengues will have to pay less to bring Kane to Spain.
