PSG sign Premier League star as Messi’s replacement

Lionel Messi’s time at Paris Saint-Germain will most likely come to an end this summer. The Argentinian Superstar is suspended by his team and is unclear if he will wear the team’s shirt ever again, as the question is not whether he will return to his beloved Barcelona, or if he ends up in Saudi Arabia. Either way, PSG need a replacement and it seems like they found one in the Premier League.

At the time being, Messi going to Al-Hilal is the most likely scenario, but Barcelona will try to snatch him. PSG do not care where he will end up. What they are focused on is bringing in the best possible replacement.

That ideal replacement is probably Martin Odegaard, according to French and Spanish media. Arsenal bought the Norwegian attacking midfielder from Real Madrid for £35 million. The 24-year-old proved that he has the potential to become one of the best players in the world, and his price has now skyrocketed. PSG are ready to make a £60 million offer, that might be just too low for Arsenal.
