EURO 2024 Predictions: Avoiding a surprise
Aren’t you tired of all this national team football yet? I surely am but it is always kind of intriguing to see who will cast the leading role for the EURO 2024 competition. England and Spain look solid, Italy will have its moments, but the most dominating team in Europe seems to be France. Mbappe and his teammates crushed the Netherlands and they are not ready to slow it down.

Ireland vs France Prediction
Ireland has not started its journey in EURO 2024 qualifiers yet and the first game will be one of the toughest in the group. France easily beat the Netherlands 4-0 throwing away all the speculations regarding Mbappe and Griezmann’s lack of sportsmanship. The two stars proved that they can cooperate with such joy, as the goal is common: to be crowned European champions.
It seems impossible for the hosts to be competitive enough. They will try to slow the tempo but France scored a lot already. I will count on their ability to overcome today’s opponent by two goals, keeping in mind that Ireland struggles a lot with scoring on home turf. The France -1.5 Asian handicap looks promising.
Hungary vs Bulgaria Prediction
In my second choice of the night I will keep up with a not-so-spectacular match (are there any though?). In a group where the other major rivals are Serbia and Montenegro, Hungary has the chance to invest in a fantastic Nations League campaign (the team finished second in front of Germany and England) and lead the way to the next EURO. The Hungarians count a lot on their record in Puskas Arena, while they concede just a few goals.
At the same time, Bulgaria failed to score in 6 of their last 10 away encounters, where under 2.5 goals look to be the only constant. All things considered, I can’t see how the hosts can not win this one. Scoring much is not an option for both of them so I will add an under 3.5 line.
